Rubber stamp, ink, paper…I remember the first time I was introduced to putting these three things together. It was such an amazing feeling because I never considered myself an “artistic” person, even though I always wanted to be. I quickly realized the hard part—the “art” part—was already done for me in the form of a rubber stamp image. I could stamp it, add color, embossing, glitter or any number of other things and viola! I could create something beautiful. I was hooked! I quickly made the decision to become a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator to support my habit.
That was 25 years ago and I haven’t lost my love of picking up a new rubber stamp image, adding ink and putting it to paper to create something special. In addition to a creative outlet for myself, Stampin’ Up! gives me the platform to share my passion with others…there’s nothing I love more than seeing that spark I felt in the eyes of a new stamper!
My life beyond stamping includes my wonderful husband of 34 years, three grown children, one incredibly beautiful granddaughter, four dogs (all have their own special spots in my studio so they can be with me while I create), a cat, two goats and five chickens.
Oh, and I LOVE a good chai latte. :)
