The "Sure Do Love You" Bundle

The "Sure Do Love You" Bundle

Hello stampin' friends!  I have a couple of really cute boxes I want to share with you today!

I'm sharing another awesome bundle being retired from the catalog...and these are gone for good when they're gone as they are not returning in the new catalog.  I think this set, Sure Do Love You, might get overlooked because it's "valentine-y"--yes, it does have hearts--but I see a lot of other options for it as well!

Mostly what I want you to notice today is the Lots to Love Box framelits.  Even if you think the set is too limiting for you, if you have a Big Shot, definitely consider ordering just the framelits because this box is PERFECT for many small gifts, but I find it just the right size for gift cards!

On this first box, I used both the set and the framelits...I think it could easily pass as a "non-valentine"!  I cut the box from the Painted with Love Specialty DSP, which is also retiring.  It has been one of my favorite DSPs since it was introduced in the Occasions catalog.  Again, some of it does have hearts, but most of it is just gorgeous with beautiful hand-painted colors and gold accents.  I used one of the Layering Circles framelits to cut the oval from the front and put a piece of Window Sheet behind it.  The banner is stamped in Berry Burst ink onto Berry Burst cardstock.  I accented it with a twist of the powder pink Love Mini Tinsel Trim combo pack and a Berry Burst 5/8" Crinkled Seam Binding ribbon bow.

I LOVE the second box!  You're getting another little sneak peak of some of the products coming next month in the pre-release of the Share What You Love suite!  Wouldn't you agree that this doesn't look like a Valentine's project at all?

I cut the box from the Share What You Love Specialty DSP.  The cut out heart in the front is a framelit you'll find in the Lots to Love Box framelits set, as is the banner.  The framelit pieces you'll find in this set can easily be used on their own!  The banner piece is cut from a new In-Color...Grapefruit Grove (I'm pretty sure this is going to be a new favorite!) and the "thank you" image is stamped with Grapefruit Grove ink.    I stamped the flowers in Smoky Slate, then hightlighted them in the Grapefruit Grove.  Both of these images come from a beautiful set called Love What You Do, which is part of the Love What You Do suite.  I love ALL the coordinating pieces of this beautiful suite!

There are a couple of watercolor wash-looking pieces in this new set which I want to point out...I used one of them on the flowers...super quick and easy way to add color!  Another one is a pretty big image...after I stamped "thank you" on the Stitched Shapes framelit oval, I inked up this watercolor wash image in Grapefruit Grove, stamped off on to scratch paper, then stamped it over the entire piece.  It creates a really interesting texture...I love it!

If you still need a little convincing about the Lots to Love Box framelits, you can click HERE to see another blog project I did awhile ago.  I don't keep very many retired products in my stash but these framelits are keepers!

I'll be back on Sunday with a Simple Sunday project to share!

Until next time...happy stampin'!
