A few days ago, I was in Dollar Tree and found these fun-shaped little boxes of Hershey's Hazelnut Kisses Deluxe. I picked up a few of them because...well....they were chocolate and they were only $1! I also knew I would be able to make them look oh-so-pretty with a little stamping! They make the perfect Simple Sunday project because they really were a snap to dress up...I just needed to add a few details!
The box itself is just wrapped with a strip of Designer Series Paper. To make the tag, I cut two strips of cardstock--1-3/4" wide from Whisper White and 2" wide from Lemon Lime Twist. I cut the tops of both of them using the Scalloped Tag Topper punch. The nice thing about this punch is, you can make your tags any length you want...just cut paper to the correct width, punch the top, stamp, then trim the bottom to the desired length.
I used a couple of images from the Oh So Eclectic stamp set (this set is available in a bundle with coordinating framelits) and Emerald Envy ink to stamp the tag front, then tore the bottom of each piece and layered them together.
I added a bit of Lemon Lime Twist 1/2" Finely Woven Ribbon and some Silver Metallic Thread to the back of the tag, as well as a couple of Rhinestones to the front.
I finished it up by tying the tag to the box with the Berry Burst 5/8" Crinkled Seam Binding. I thought it turned out really cute and it was seriously sooooo easy! Sometimes it's just those little details that take ordinary to extra special. I can't wait to give it away!
I used the following products on this project:
I hope you're enjoying your day and that you'll take a little time to stamp something pretty!
Until next time...happy stampin'!
