Today's Simple Sunday card literally took me a couple of minutes to whip up....and that's just how a "simple" project should be! When my kids were home, I used to say that if a stamp project didn't take five minutes or less, it just wouldn't happen...this card definitely fits the quick and easy profile!
It is sometimes hard for me to keep things simple, especially when it comes to layers. I like to layer...a LOT. I was tempted to stamp the background on to another piece of paper and layer it, but I decided to stamp it directly on to the Very Vanilla Thick card front and forgo the extra layer.
The wreath was stamped on to Crumb Cake cardstock with VersaMark ink, heat embossed with gold embossing powder, then cut with one of the Stitched Shapes framelits. I stamped the sentiment (from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set) in Crumb Cake ink and clipped the ends. It was attached with a couple of Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. I finished it up with a Linen Thread bow...and that's IT. Quick and easy!
Pretty doesn't have to take a lot of time if you don't have extra time to spare!
I used the following products on this project:
Until next time...happy stampin'!
