Happy Sunday stampin' friends! I've been MIA this week as I've been trying to get my studio back in order after pulling all the retiring items to make room for new catalog things. I decided to rearrange at the same time and it's been a messy process--I don't function well in chaos. I'm still not quite finished but I didn't want to miss another blog day so here I am. :)
We are just a few days away from the new catalog launch on June 1...I am so excited to place my first order! Yes, it's true that as a demonstrator I was able to pre-order select items (and believe me, I did!!)...but I love when I have the entire catalog available to order whatever my little heart desires. I have my wish list ready to go! While this is exciting, it also means that there are very few days left to order from the current catalog...if there are items you've been thinking about ordering before they are gone, make sure to get your order in before the end of May! Some items have already been depleated from inventory and are no longer available so don't wait much longer.
Today's project is a preview of a beautiful new stamp set, Varied Vases, and coordinating punch, Vases Builder. These will be available individually in the new catalog, or as a bundle (with a 10% savings!). I've already stamped several cards with this amazing duo and I feel like the possibilities are endless!
I started by stamping the vase onto a piece of Wood Textures DSP and punching it out. The other images are stamped onto Very Vanilla cardstock and colored with Stampin' Blends. Before adhering the vase, I added a splatter with an Aqua Painter and ink from the lid of Early Espresso.
The Very Vanilla is layered onto a piece of Share What You Love Specialty DSP, So Saffron cardstock and finally an Early Espresso card base. As a final touch, I added a Linen Thread bow with a mini glue dot.
(Please note that even though the Varied Vases bundle is showing in this showcase, it is not available for purchase until June 1.)
I hope to be back on my normal posting schedule this week so check back soon!
