Today's Simple Sunday project features the Heartland stamp set. Isn't this stamp perfectly charming? It just makes me smile.
If you're looking for quick and easy color for an image, our Watercolor Pencils, along with a Blender pen, is the ticket! I stamped this image in Basic Black ink onto Watercolor paper and within a couple of minutes, had it colored and blended. I then cut it with one of the Stitched Shapes framelits. These are my favorite framelits because the stitching adds just enough detail so that I don't need to layer it again.
The sentiment is also stamped in Basic Black ink onto a strip of Crumb Cake cardstock, with a tiny scallop border cut from Marina Mist cardstock using the Decorative Ribbon Border punch.
This piece from the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack created a wonderfully rustic background for my card and I love how the Island Indigo Ombre ribbon brought a bit more blue and cream in to finish it up.
I used the following products on this project:
Until next time...happy stampin'!
