A single stamp set, one color (both card stock and ink), and a couple of accessories definitely add up to a Simple Sunday project! I don't know what the weather is like currently in your neck of the woods, but here, it's WET, WET, WET...the perfect kind of weather for getting a lot of Christmas cards done and ready to send out next month! With a simple layout like this, they'll be done in a jiffy!
Tips & Tricks
- Really, this project is so easy. I chose one color (Pool Party) and achieved two color looks by stamping the sentiment and punched out snowflakes full strength, and the lighter, background snowflakes by inking and stamping off on to scratch paper before stamping on to my card stock.
- The two smaller snowflakes have a punch that coordinates with them. The coolest thing of all? They are both on one stamp image....stamp them and they are already set to line up perfectly with the punch...two for one!
- To finish this project up, I added a little dimension by using Stampin' Dimensionals between the card base and the front piece. A couple of rhinestones for bling and it's all done....easy-peasy!
