Simple Sunday - Detailed With Love

Simple Sunday - Detailed With Love

Happy Sunday stampin' friends!  Today I'm sharing a new stamp set as well as a new product.  The stamp set is called Detailed With Love.  You'll find it on page 39 in the 2018-19 Stampin' Up! catalog and it's available in either wood or clear mount.  I didn't use the coordinating punch on this project but this set is available in a bundle in this catalog with the Detailed Trio punch.

I'm also showcasing the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper, which you'll find on page 189.  These are delicately detailed laser-cut sheets, white on one side and vanilla on the other.  One design is a 12 x 12 pattern while the other has distinct patterns to cut out.  There are eight sheets total, four of each design.  For today's project, I started in one corner of the full sheet and with just a few snips, cut the pretty detailed flowers used on the background of this card.

To add some color, I used sponge daubers to sponge Grapefruit Grove, Mango Melody, Daffodil Delight, Poppy Parade and Lemon Lime Twist inks over the cut out...don't you love it??!!  It's really easy and it makes this pretty paper pop!  Once I had it colored, I applied fine-tip glue to the back and glued it to a piece of sparkle glimmer paper--I love the sparkle!  The glimmer paper is adhered to Poppy Parade cardstock and then to a Lemon Lime Twist card front.

I stamped the image from the Detailed With Love set using Poppy Parade ink onto Whisper White cardstock.  I want to point out that I am really impressed with our new ink the past, this solid image could very well have ended up blotchy when using a new pad but none of the fine details of the words or stitching were lost when I stamped this image.  It's so nice!!  After stamping, I cut the image with one of the Stitched Shapes ovals and layered it to the card front with stampin' dimensionals.

Please be sure to come back and visit me on Tuesday when I'll have another fun project to share with you!
