Happy Sunday stampers! Today I wanted to show a quick and easy card using the Coffee Cafe stamp set since I used the coordinating dies for this set on my Friday post (if you missed it, click HERE). This one isn't nearly as fancy but can be made in a flash to give to a friend. This is a great beginner card but might appeal to casual stampers as well.
Stamp the cup, lid and sentiment in the bottom right corner of a piece of Mint Macaron cardstock using Shaded Spruce ink. Stamp the coffee beans along the bottom in Early Espresso ink. Pick up some ink from the lid of the Shaded Spruce ink pad onto an Aqua Painter and splatter over cardstock. (TIP: If you don't have an Aqua Painter, you can achieve this look by picking up ink on a paintbrush or even a toothbrush, then splattering for the same effect!)
Layer Mint Macaron onto a piece of Shaded Spruce cardstock at an angle. Wrap linen thread around top three times and secure to back. Layer onto Early Espresso card base then tie a bow onto front with a second piece of linen thread.
Here's what I used today...
Thanks for stopping by to visit today! Until next time...happy stampin'!
