Whenever my daughter comes to visit, she always goes through my stack of cards and pulls out several birthday and thank you's to use at home. The other day she called with a specific request though--she needed a card with a moose for a friend's one-year-old...his nickname is Moose. I knew I didn't have a moose stamp but I thought I remembered there being a moose in the Pick A Pattern designer series paper. Sure enough, I found this guy!
I started by fussy cutting him out from the piece of DSP, then layering him onto a Soft Sky circle die cut with a Stitched Shapes framelit. I added some linen thread loops behind the blue, then layered the circle onto a piece of Wood Textures DSP.
The next layer is also Soft Sky, and I stamped the Happy Birthday using Early Espresso ink. To finish it up, I added the Crumb Cake 3/8" classic weave ribbon knot and layered it all onto a Crumb Cake card front.
It was a hit, and it really took just a few minutes to put it together...perfect for a Simple Sunday project! :)
I used the following products on this project:
Until next time...happy stampin'!
