Holy cow, have you seen the Jolly Friends bundle in the Holiday Catalog? It is sooooo cute! I love all the mix-and-match hats, and the fact that there's a punch for them, which makes it super quick and easy...and so many cute faces and scarves! It's adorable! If it's not part of your holiday collection yet, maybe it's time!
Step by Step
To complete this project, you'll need cardstock cut to the following sizes:
5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Whisper White Thick cardstock (card base)
3-3/4" x 5" Shimmery White cardstock
2-1/2" x 3-1/2" Real Red (for oval frame)
Scraps Watercolor paper, Red Glimmer and Whisper White
1) Stamp Santa's face using Basic Black ink on to scrap Watercolor paper. Use an aqua painter and Peekaboo Peach, Blushing Bride and Smoky Slate (for beard, washing out with lots of water so it's not dark). Fussy cut image. Use Jolly Hat Builder punch to punch hat pieces from scraps of Red Glimmer paper and Whisper White cardstock. Use glue dots to adhere pieces together, then adhere to Santa. Use Fine-Tip glue to adhere clear mica flakes to hat.
2) Use Big Shot and Layering Ovals framelits to cut frame from Real Red cardstock. Adhere to Shimmery White cardstock using Fine-Tip glue. Stamp sentiment below frame on Shimmery White using Real Red ink. Adhere Santa image in the middle of the oval with Stampin' Dimensionals. Adhere entire Shimmery White piece onto card base using Stampin' Dimensionals.
