Let's Talk About Paper Pumpkin

Hello stampers!  This week I sat down with my daughter to stamp up a couple of Paper Pumpkin kits.  She needed some thank you's so I found a past kit for her, and I wanted to work on the latest Paper Pumpkin kit I'd just received.  I did a couple of them just as they were shown, and then I had some fun doing a couple of alternative cards.

Do you know about Paper Pumpkin?  It's Stampin' Up!'s monthly subscription kits.  You can sign up and receive one each month, direct to your mailbox, for just $19.95 each month.  Each kit comes with everything you need to complete your projects...a photopolymer stamp set (that you can use over and over again!), ink, paper products, envelopes (if the projects are cards), adhesive, ribbons, accessories...you'll only need to add a clear block and scissors (sometimes I like to use my SNAIL adhesive as well).  The directions in each kit are excellent, and Stampin' Up! even does a video on YouTube every month with step-by-step instructions for that month's kit.  If you find that you really love it, you can pre-purchase the kits in 3, 6 or 12-month packages, and save a little bit of money!  Need to take a month off?  No problem....you can suspend your subscription for a month!  Here's a quick little Stampin' Up! video...

The downside to Paper Pumpkin is that you won't be able to get this month's adorable kit BUT, if you subscribe by the 10th of July, the July kit will arrive on your doorstep later in the month and you'll be on your way to crafting the Paper Pumpkin way!  My daughter, who loves the IDEA of crafting but doesn't feel like she's very creative, loves the Paper Pumpkin kits because she can follow the instructions and end up with pretty projects that she's happy to share.  I love Paper Pumpkin because I can either follow along or create something new...it's all up to you!

Here's a few alternative projects I did with this month's kit:

For this one, I just added a piece of Lovely Lipstick cardstock for the background...everything else was included in the kit.

This one and the next one were done using only supplies that came in the kit...how stinkin' cute are these fun cards?
