Have a Snappy Day!

Have a Snappy Day!

I thought I'd take a little trip outside my comfort zone today and here is where I ended up!  What are your thoughts?

Step by Step

To complete this project, you'll need cardstock cut to the following sizes:

5-1/2" x 8-1/2" Whisper White Thick cardstock (card base)

3" x 3" Watercolor paper

1-1/4" x 3" Real Red

1/4" x 4-1/4" Basic Black DSP (from Neutrals DSP stack)

3/4" x 4-1/4" Basic Black DSP

1)  Use an aqua painter with Real Red ink to create background on watercolor paper.  When completely dry, stamp crab image using Basic Black ink.  Use Big Shot and Festive textured embossing folder to emboss Real Red cardstock.

2)  Adhere smaller strip of DSP to top of card base, about 3/4" from top.  Adhere embossed Real Red under strip on far left edge.  Line up and adhere crab piece next to Real Red piece.  Adhere wider DSP strip under Real Red and crab pieces.  Tie a bow from Real Red twine and adhere with a mini glue dot.
