Getting a bit of a late start this morning, but I seem to be back on track now...that's always a good thing! The theme for this week's Global Design Project challenge is Grateful...
I decided to keep this card really simple, but I think the copper foil and copper embossing powder, paired with Fresh Fig, Early Espresso and Crumb Cake worked very nicely.
Isn't this a delicious color combination??
I started by making my own background piece. I used the Leaf Punch to punch several leaves from copper foil, then attached them to Early Espresso cardstock. When placing them, I didn't worry about any overhang...I clipped them all to the edge of the Espresso cardstock when I was finished attaching them. The Espresso piece was then adhered to Fresh Fig cardstock.
I cut the sentiment piece from Crumb Cake cardstock using one of the Stitched Shapes framelits, then embossed the sentiment using VersaMark ink and copper embossing powder and attached it with a couple of Stampin' Dimensionals.
To finish it up, I added the Fresh Fig ribbon and a bow.
I used the following products on this project:

Until next time...happy stampin'!
