I have really been MIA for a while...I am soooo sorry! A couple of times I have tried to get back on track but life was just happening. I'm coming to grips with the fact that I can't set the pace for myself that I had set, and I have to be okay with that. I've come to the conclusion that consistency is better than quantity...at least that's that I'm telling myself. My future goal is to add a blog post four times each week (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday). I may miss here and there, but I think it's a must more attainable goal than every day!
I have really missed participating in the Global Design Project challenge each week so you can look for my challenge projects here each Tuesday. This weeks' challenge is a sketch:
I love this sketch because it lends itself so well to any theme or color combination you might like to use! I chose to use earthy Soft Suede, with a pop of Lemon Lime Twist, and a bit of razzle dazzle created by the Foil Frenzy Specialty Designer Series Paper. Creating the vertical greeting was a piece of cake (a piece of crumb cake!) with the Labeler Alphabet set, and making the hanging flags was also really easy with the Banner Triple punch. Try this quick sketch for your next project!
I used the following products for this project:
Until next time...happy stampin'!
