So yesterday was officially the "first day of fall"...and I am definitely ready for cooler weather, crunchy, colorful leaves, sweaters, pumpkins, bonfires and hot chai lattes. Hmmmm, I love this time of year. Today's project brings together all the warm, cozy feelings we get from gorgeous fall colors!
Step by Step
To complete this project, you'll need cardstock cut to the following sizes:
4-1/4" x 8-1/2" Olive Olive cardstock (card base)
4" x 5-1/4" Early Espresso cardstock
3-3/4" x 5" Watercolor paper
1" x 5-1/4" Copper Foil
1) Lay watercolor paper on work surface. Using washi tape, mask off top 1/4" and bottom, leaving about 1-1/4". Use aqua painter to watercolor with Pumpkin Pie, Old Olive and Crushed Curry inks. Let dry completely. Stamp leaves using Versamark pad. Carefully remove washi tape, then heat emboss leaves using Copper embossing powder.
2) Use Big Shot and border from Flourish Thinlits to cut Copper Foil. Adhere to card front with Fine-Tip Glue. Stamp Thank You using Early Espresso ink onto watercolor paper in bottom right corner.
3) Layer Early Espresso cardstock onto Old Olive card base, then watercolor paper to Early Espresso.
These are the products I used on this project:
Until next time...happy stampin'!
