Brusho Best Wishes

Brusho Best Wishes

I thought I'd try another project with the Brusho crystal colour today.  I'm still hoping to find time to do a video to post tomorrow to show you some things I'm learning about using it.  I am really excited to see just what all can be done with this amazing product!  I didn't have a whole lot of time to stamp today so I decided to keep it simple with just one layer and minimal stamping.

I started by stamping the images with VersaMark ink onto watercolor paper and heat embossing with bronze embossing powder.  I used an Aqua Painter to apply a good layer of water to the paper, then I sprinkled the Yellow and Moss Green crystals.  When you look close, there is more than just yellow and green...the yellow has tiny specks of orange and the green has tiny specks of blue and purple...sooooo coooool!  I like to move the crystals around some with my wet Aqua Painter to break them up and add additional blending.

Once this was completely dry, I picked up some Early Espresso ink on the Aqua Painter and splattered it over the watercolor paper.  I love what the brown flecks added to it, both washing out some of the color, or darkening it in places.

To finish it up, I added the copper trim bow and layered it all onto an Old Olive card base.

I used the following products on this project:

Until next time...happy stampin'!
