Hello stampin' friends! This morning when I came into my studio to stamp, I was drawn to the new Botanical Bliss bundle again. I can't seem to get enough of these pretty images and framelits...so many possibilities! You'll find this bundle on page 20 of the Stampin' Up! 2018-19 catalog. Today I paired them with my favorite Wood Textures DSP.
I began by cutting the background piece with the Big Shot and framelit from a piece of Wood Textures DSP, then stamped the flower image in Fresh Fig ink. On a piece of scrap Whisper White, I stamped the bird in Crumb Cake and "friend" in Fresh Fig, fussing cutting the bird and clipping the ends to flag the "friend". I used the branch framelit to cut a branch from Fresh Fig cardstock, then layered all the pieces over the Wood Textures piece. I added a linen thread bow and a few copper-colored sequins to complete this layer.
I ran a piece of Fresh Fig cardstock through the Big Shot in the Pinewood Planks embossing folder. I splattered Fresh Fig ink over this piece with an Aqua Painter, then added a splatter of Wink of Stella before layering it onto a Crumb Cake card base and adhering the Wood Textures piece on top.
