Back from OnStage!

Back from OnStage!

Welp, I made it home from Florida!  This year's OnStage was incredible as we celebrated Stampin' Up!'s 30th birthday.  Hopefully you kept up with me on my Pocket Full of Stamps Facebook page...if not, you can check out pictures of all the fun at Facebook.com/dalbee.pocketfullofstamps!  I was so excited to see the new Occasions catalog and Sale-A-Bration brochures...sooooo many fun new things will be available soon!  I'm excited to show you and share in the upcoming days!  As always, we were showered with gifts of stamp sets, as well as a couple of awesome bags and a neat case for holding accessories, and we were able to pre-order some of the new suites that will be available starting in January.  I can't wait to start stamping with them!

One thing we learned is that Stampin' Up! is phasing out wood- and clear-mount stamps.  They are being replaced by a product called "cling mount".  Since I am a HUGE fan of wood-mount stamps, I was a little upset at the beginning but now that I've used the new cling mount stamps....oh my gosh!  They are AWESOME!  We still get the same, gorgeous images because they are still made from the red rubber but the stickers are SUPER sticky and cling like magic to either clear blocks or the Stamparatus...no more images falling off the blocks and ruining projects!  I'm looking forward to sharing more information about these awesome stamps as we get closer to you being able to purchase them!  You're going to love them!

I thought today I would share the make-and-take projects we got to make while we were there.  We used sets and products from four of the new suites and they are awesome!!  I purchased these and several more in my pre-order so be watching for sneak peeks!

I'll be sharing more soon but today I need to keep this short and sweet.  I'll be back with a project to share tomorrow though so check back with me!
