...And Sometimes You Just Have To Go With Plan B

...And Sometimes You Just Have To Go With Plan B

Some days just don't work out the way you plan them.  I started working on a new video for you last night and this morning, even though I'm pretty sure I saved it, it was no where to be found.  So I started working on remaking it...and then found out my internet is out for an undetermined amount of time.  So....Plan B! Here I am, sitting down at my local Starbucks drinking an iced chai latte and posting my blog for today!  You know, Plan B is actually working out pretty well!  As for the video, it will be loaded as soon as possible and I'll post it for you....it's a good one!

Today's project was one I had actually planned to use in my Stampin' Class To Go before I decided that I was trying to use too many colors.  It's still a pretty card though so I wanted to share it.

Remember, when you order this bundle from the new Holiday catalog through me during the month of September, you'll receive a packet with four pre-cut projects ready to stamp using your new set and punch, along with a link to a tutorial video, all FREE!  If you need more information on the September Stampin' Class To Go, click here.

I started my design by pulling out a piece of the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper. I love the Soft Sky thrown in with the fall colors...it's so unexpected, but it works together beautifully!  Look at all the pretty papers included in this set...it makes me soooo ready for fall to arrive!

The sentiment is stamped in Cajun Craze ink on Very Vanilla cardstock, then die cut with one of the Stitched Shaped framelits.  Do you notice how often I use these framelits on my projects?  If you don't have them, you really need to add them to your collection...they are a staple!  I then sponged some Soft Sky around the edge with a Sponge Dauber.

I LOVE the new Leaf Punch!  I just stamped the coordinating leaf image from the stamp set in Soft Sky ink on to Soft Sky cardstock then punched!  Super quick and easy!

All the layers were adhered to the card front and finished off with a Linen Thread bow.  What do you think?

I used the following products on this project:

I promise to get that video posted just as soon as I can!

Until next time...happy stampin'!
